Keeping Members Informed of Progress
April 22, 2026
It is often said that 80% of the value of any development effort comes in the final 20% of the work. After reviewing everything I have accomplished over the past year, Alexei simply said, “I think we need to go back to https://billcara.com/ on our own server and develop a system that connects to Ghost, Substack, Stripe, etc.” Despite the thousand hours I have already invested this year to reach what I believed was the final 5%, I knew instantly that he was right.
In order to resume management of all aspects of https://billcara.com/, I have acquired the required development/production server today.
Based on results to date, I anticipate that the Cara Portfolios will be the most popular subscription option. Accordingly, I have extended the number of portfolios I will manage to eleven, with a total watchlist of 450 instruments for daily deep-dive analysis and a combined maximum of 99 holdings across all eleven portfolios.
The first portfolios I will prepare following the restart are P1, P2, P3, P6, and P8. I will add P4 and P5 in Phase 2, P10 and P11 in Phase 3, and P7 and P9 in Phase 4.
This preparation is taking place while Alexei rebuilds the Cara Fiduciary System from scratch on the new server, using his own schema.
Because the new system incorporates more advanced technology, I am adding three new data sources. Consequently, the system will auto generate all data CSVs and manifests to support all data processing and AI functionality. The additional data will enable me to develop more sophisticated rules and deliver nuanced opinions and guidance.
As every instrument now has a unique identifier, all processing can be mapped from start to final report with 100% accuracy verification. The database and server will now support practically unlimited storage of records, allowing time series analysis that will serve as the basis for more sophisticated guidance. In addition to content that is time‑series‑based, the Playbook will be enhanced with corporate fundamental analysis to be added to the INSTAT analysis and researched context.
Finally, recognizing that very few subscribers will read the detailed information contained in daily 80‑page reports, the INSTAT report will soon feature a mobile‑friendly summary watchlist at the top.
That is where we stand today.
