A Productive Day: Cancer-Free and a Database Breakthrough

Share

I spent more than half the day at the hospital for my routine cancer recurrence follow-up. It’s an invasive procedure, but along with a CAT scan and ultrasound, it showed that I remain cancer-free. As my oncologist said, "Two years is good." I now can be checked every six months.

A funny thing happened during the trip to the hospital: with time to think, I decided to restructure the database once again. I figured out a simple way to eliminate 99% of the processing errors. I finished that task tonight, and while the reports could have been published, I also need to revise the AI prompts—which can be tricky—so I decided I’ve had enough for one day. Best to take my time and do it properly in the morning.

Tomorrow, I should have all of today’s reports done by noon ET, and a fresh set ready after the close. Because I’ve separated the data files into US traded instruments and internationally domestic traded instruments, I will now do two daily INSTAT reports.

With the international markets now being processed separately, I’ll be able to increase the number of portfolios I offer. I will separate the Cara 100 to manage portfolios for the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
